Cliffside's four SP scroll pulls in Silver Satin

The final new 5″cc solid brass cabinet pull to be introduced is the SP-5. With its decorative scroll design, the SP-5, shown at right with the other Scroll Suite pulls in Silver Satin, adds a traditional touch to any cabinet. The most versatile Cliffside collection, the Scroll Suite contains several of our top-ten selling items and can coordinate with any cabinet style, as it is available in 10 distinctive finishes.

Because the scroll pull is now available in four sizes, you have the ability to coordinate the hardware throughout an entire room, an entire floor, or an entire home. The 3″cc SP-3, part of Cliffside’s line for many years, can be used on small cabinet drawers or on custom furniture where an elegant and graceful look is desired. For kitchen cabinets, especially those that are ceiling-height, or wide drawer fronts, the new SP-5 is an ideal fit. For tall pantry doors, small appliances like dishwashers, and pull-0ut freezer drawers, the SP-8 fits your design requirements, while the SP-12 appliance handle is a perfect size for large refrigerators with panel kits.

The fourth style of 5″cc pull to be introduced is from the Criss-Cross Suite. In addition to the P399-3 cabinet handle, the P399-8 small appliance pull, and the P399-12 refrigerator handle, Cliffside now offers the P399-5 for cabinet doors and drawers. As with all elements of the Criss-Cross Suite, the P399-5 features the attractive ribbon-and-reed design prevalent throughout the entire hardware collection, as seen at right in conjunction with the 3″cc pull and the P398 cup pull.

The versatility of the 5″cc size makes it ideal. It is small enough to be used throughout an entire kitchen, but long enough to be appropriate for ceiling-height doors, taller-than-average base cabinets, or wide drawers. This size is also appropriate for use in applications where the grip height of the 3″cc pull is not sufficient, such as when a customer has larger-than-average fingers (like your blog writer! – personally, I find the 5″cc much easier to use).

The second line of 5″cc solid brass cabinet pulls to be introduced comes from the Artisan Suite: the B622-5. Pictured at right in black (B622-5-FB), the new 5″cc pull, like all of the Artisan Suite pulls, features a decorative faux screw design, which is echoed in a subtle touch on the face of the B600 knob (top left in image) and around the rim of the B602 cup handle.

The 5″cc pulls are versatile, offering a larger-sized cabinet pull for customers concerned about accessibility, but they also offer a more dramatic styling for a wide drawer when two smaller pulls will not suffice. Large pantry doors are an appropriate application for either the 5″cc or the 8″cc size, providing even more choice for the designer and the homeowner.

B1 series pulls in Antique Brass

To introduce our new line of 5″cc solid brass cabinet pulls, Cliffside will feature a short blog on each design. The first to be spotlighted is the B1-5, part of the Classic Suite and shown here in Antique Brass. The items of the Classic Suite feature a timeless beveled-edge design, and the B1-5 is no different. Suitable for wide drawers or larger cabinet doors, or for any application where the homeowner, designer, or contractor desires a larger hardware piece, this new standard pull is sure to fill the need.

As shown, the B1-5 is part of a larger set; the Classic Suite now offers two cabinet pulls (the B1-3 and new B1-5), an oversized pull (the B1-8; usable for oversized doors and drawers and small appliances such as dishwashers, trash compactors, and under-counter small refrigerators), and an appliance pull (the B1-12; designed to stand up to the toughest refrigerators).

All of our hardware suites are available with coordinating knobs, like the Classic Suite’s 147, 148, and 149 shape knobs. All suites also have ten designs of hinges in coordinating finishes and two styles of solid brass cupboard latches available as well. 147: The Octagon

For several years, Cliffside Industries has carried the 147 series knob in two finishes (Polished Brass and Silver Satin) after it was originally introduced in five colors more than ten years ago. Now, we are proud to include this classic product in our hardware suites, now available in our 10 signature finishes. Cliffside has resurrected the 147-AB and 147-PC, and the six completely new available finishes include Black, Iron, Old Antique, Old Copper, Polished Nickel and Venetian Bronze. This octagonal knob is a favorite of some of our largest dealers, and we hope it will be a favorite for you too!

148: The Square

In a touch of irony, Cliffside’s goal to keep our hardware line new and current has left us… a little square. The new 148 knob is designed as a match to the 147, only with four sides instead of eight. Offered in all ten of our signature finishes, 148 has been an instant success for Cliffside Industries, garnering questions and orders within a short time of its introduction. We are proud to offer this item as a part of our new shape line.

149: The Rectangle

Since Cliffside tries to include a football-shaped or elongated knob in each of our hardware suites, the last logical addition to the new and improved Classic Suite was the rectangular 149. Crafted with the same attractive beveled edge that defines the 147, the 148, and the entire Classic Suite, the 149 is available in all ten of our signature finishes. Some early front-runners for favorite finishes among Cliffside’s dealers are the Polished Chrome and Polished Nickel.

Staying in shape

Once you “get into shape” with Cliffside’s new line, there’s nothing more important than “staying in shape”. Cliffside Industries understands what an arduous process choosing hardware can be. We also know that when a customer picks something that they want, they want it to stay that way. Keeping that in mind, Cliffside has ensured that our new 148 and 149 knobs come with convenient brads that can be used on the back of the knob. These brads attach into the face of the cabinet when installed, holding the knobs firmly in place and making certain that the square knobs that were installed don’t turn into diamond shapes through loosening and turning.

Other Shapes
