New informational pages

Cliffside’s Industries new website includes explanatory pages, just like the last version, but we have expanded and enhanced those areas to include the most up-to-date and detailed information we can provide. One completely new page outlines Cliffside’s return policy in great detail, making it easy for customers to understand our return and exchange process.

Another page that received great expansion is our finish guide. Formerly split up over two short pages, our new “Guide to Cliffside Finishes” now offers information on caring for your Cliffside hardware, as well as detailed looks at all of the colors and finishes we offer throughout our line, from our solid brass hardware and hinges to our special-order novelty knobs and pulls.

Pages that you’ll recognize from the old website include the “About Cliffside” page, detailing our company history (newly updated for our 25th anniversary!) and the “Literature Request“, where you can order Cliffside’s “Fine Hardware Collections” catalog or view it online. Our Terms of Sale are readily available for your perusal, as well as current price lists for the entire Cliffside hardware line.

New landing pages

Several areas in the Cliffside website have gotten new landing pages. The look and feel of the product shopping pages are completely different, but perhaps the biggest improvement is in the home page for the hardware suites. Before, the page was a set of thumbnails with text links to finish codes and did not provide much information. The new version offers an explanation of each suite with a full image and text links to the full finish name, making it easy to find the color and collection you are seeking.

New product categorization

Our products are now cross-referenced within categories, making it easy to find related items that you need. You can ask a customer service representative for more details, and they will easily be able to provide you with links to our novelty hardware, ball-tip hinges, crystal knobs and pulls, Southwestern-style handles and knobs, or a wide variety of other styles. In addition to our bath accessories, new Cliffside products have been added to many categories, including solid brass (our new 5″cc cabinet and drawer pulls), novelty (new products added at launch), crystal (our newest Swarovski crystal knobs and pulls), and contemporary (find these in the “zinc” material category)!

New color scheme and layout

Our new, flexible website allows us to move from our original blue and teal color scheme to a modern, bronze and gray palette. The new colors are also echoed in the re-design of our blog. New shopping interface

Cliffside’s new website now allows customers to begin shopping for product directly from the home page. In the left-hand sidebar, customers can choose from popular search categories like “Shop by Finish” or “Shop by Material”. Our most popular finishes are shown in the sidebar, while you can see thumbnails of all available finishes by rolling over the “Finishes” button in the bronze taskbar at the top of each page.

In the same bar, under “Products”, customers can click on the product type icons to choose the style of item they are seeking: knobs, cabinet pulls, latches, appliance handles, and more! If interested in shopping by hardware collection, simply roll over the “Suites” button to reveal links to…

New suite pages

Cliffside’s newly redesigned webpage features brand-new images of all 54 hardware suites in solid brass, stainless steel, and forged European bronze. Each of the solid brass hardware suites is available in 10 finishes as before, from Antique Brass to Venetian Bronze; however, each page is now complemented by clean images with crisp white backgrounds, showing the elements of the suite together as a cohesive unit.

Can’t decide between Polished Nickel and Polished Chrome? What about that Silver Satin? Navigate easily between finishes within a suite by clicking the color swatches on the right-hand sidebar to see each suite in all of its available hues. New bath accessories

We have now added a line of luxury bath accessories to complement our solid brass hardware suites in eight elegant finishes! Our solid brass bath accessories are made in the U.S.A. and handcrafted by skilled artisans with the utmost of care. Each of our five solid brass suites now has bath accessories to match, including the Artisan Suite, the Scroll Suite, the Classic Suite, the Criss‐Cross Suite, and the Rope Suite. Each luxury bath collection has a coordinating element that unites it with the matching Cliffside hardware suite.

New or updated elements on the website include an enhanced finish guide and care section, streamlined explanations of Cliffside’s terms of purchase and return policies, and a fresh, new look at the company’s blog. Perhaps the most dramatic change, however, is Cliffside’s presentation of its hardware suites.
